28th January 2010. The NSW state elections are on the 26th March. If you believe in the old two party paradigm you have the choice of total incompetence on one side and no policies on the other. A salutory reminder that there are other options, greens independents etc. Multi party governments work quite successfully in other parts of the globe. For instance Swedens multi party government has given rise to the most social and economic success story in Europe.

A couple of recent articles has reinforced the fact that the stock market is simply a device for transferring money to the minority ‘in the know’ from the majority ‘out of the know’. This is particularly reinforced by directors trading stocks in the blackout period and the rapid introduction of massive computing power by trading houses to beat the average punter. Easy solution – dont play their game !
